Costa Rica has two international airports. For ease of travel, we recommend flying into the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) where most US airlines operate.

Here are a few options, which can be mixed and matched:

1) Car Rental: Nothing beats the convenience of having your own vehicle. Ideal for exploring. Four-wheel drive (4WD) is highly recommended. Cons: Driving in the tropics can be challenging, and a designated driver is required!

2) Private Shuttles / Driver: Transportation to and from the airport, hotel, and major tourist spots can be booked in shared shuttles. This is convenient for avoiding driving and to enjoy a few (or many) drinks. Here are a few options for shared shuttles: SJO Airport Shuttles, Costa Rica Shuttles, Costa Rica Private Transfers. 3) Uber: This option works great in metropolitan areas and major beach towns. It's not recommended for transportation to and from the wedding venue, as options may be scarce. (PS: We don't recommend using the "Pay in Cash" option offered in Costa Rica)

PS: After party starts (continues in the same location) after midnight , so plan accordingly!
